I’m pretty stoked that my DigitalNZ set for Lorde’s Tennis Court won their NZ Music Month competition.
I find it particularly affecting as #YesAllWomen has been all over Twitter over the last few days. Lorde’s song includes these lyrics “We’re so happy, even when we’re smiling out of fear.” There’s something creepy and very real about that line for me.
